I put a set of these on my issue M9 when I went overseas to the sandbox and loved it. It completely changes the feel and shooting characteristics of the weapon. I have smallish hands, so double-stack grips are sometimes an issue for me, especially when shooting controlled pairs, but these grips – while somewhat enlarging the grip size – improve manageability so much by reducing felt recoil and making it so much easier to get a solid grip that it is a no-brainer.
I am about to acquire a 92FS as a civilian and the first thing I did was order a set of these. Didn’t even have to think about it.
Only downside was that after a year of hard use overseas the grip did erode pretty heavily, but it’s so inexpensive that that is not a worry – just throw another one on there – and that was after pretty hard, daily use. In a civilian environment I’m not worried enough about it to dock it a star, and if I was going overseas again I wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger on one of these again.
